Competition Info & Schedule
The tentative schedule for BOTH DAYS of the event are as follows. Note that this schedule may be subject to change depending on the number of competitors in each wave. We'll be sure to let you know ahead of time if the planned schedule changes.
Kids/Mature Kids: 8:00am-11:00am
Preteen, Adult, and Masters: 11:30am-2:00pm
Kids, Mature Kids, Preteen, Adult, & Masters ONLY Redemption Time: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Teen/Young Adult: 3:30pm-6:00pm
Elite: 6:30pm-7:30pm
All Competitor Redemption Time: 7:30pm-8:30pm
This is not one competition, but TWO! Each day of the competition will be a full WNL Standard Qualifier, and each is open for anyone of any skill level to attend. While you do have the option to only attend one day, we strongly recommend attending BOTH for the full experience, regardless of skill level!
Day 1 (Saturday, 4/12) will feature the WNL Full Course Format. Day 1 is going to feature an intermediate-level course, with some exciting new obstacles and rig changes.
Day 2 (Sunday, 4/13) will feature the WNL Challenge Course Format. Essentially, this means that the athlete will have 2 retries on the course, that cannot be used on the same obstacle. Once the athlete either fails a retry, or runs out of retries, their scored run is over. However, athletes will be allowed to finish out the rest of the course as a "fun run" until the time cap is reached. Day 2 will be more focused on giving our advanced athletes a chance to show what they're made of, and to help them prepare for Regionals, Worlds, and beyond!
Additionally, both days will feature some Redemption Time (open gym time on the competition obstacles post-competition) halfway through the day specifically for the younger divisions. Running at 8am and then having to wait until 9pm means that a lot of our younger athletes simply aren't able to get any redemption time, so we're hoping to give them that opportunity! It also means that I get a lunch break in the middle of the comp :D
If you are registering for more than one person (yourself/child, or multiple children) use code "Family" in checkout for a $10 discount per athlete. Only athletes need to purchase tickets- all spectators are free!
