GENERAL Skyhook rules

Skyhook is a place to challenge yourself, build confidence, and have fun. These rules help keep our gym safe, welcoming, and awesome for everyone.

1. Practice Gym Awareness

Pay attention to your surroundings, give others space, and stay clear of active obstacles and fall zones.

2. uSE EQUIPMENT AS INTENDED

Train on equipment the way it was designed to be used, and ask a coach if you're ever unsure. All gym equipment is designed for one person at a time.

3. TRAIN AT YOUR LEVEL

Build your skills step by step and follow posted requirements and coach guidance when taking on new or advanced challenges.

4. No Screaming, Yelling, Running, or Hide and Seek

Avoid running, roughhousing, building forts, or anything that could hurt you or others. This is a training space - be mindful of the people around you. Keep your inside voices on.

5. Share the Space

This space is for everyone! Be mindful of how your actions are impacting those around you. Take turns on obstacles and treat other the way you want to be treated.

6. Listen to Coaches and Staff

Our team is here to help. Follow staff direction and ask for help whenever you need it.

7. Be kind and respectful

Encourage others, respect personal boundaries, and help make Skyhook a welcoming place for everyone.

8. Take Care of the Gym

Respect the equipment and facility, keep training areas clear, and let a staff member know if you notice something unsafe or damaged. Clean up after yourself, return obstacles to where they live, and keep chalk contained in a chalk sock in your chalk bag. No loose chalk!

9. Keep Personal Belongings Inside Cubbies

Please keep all personal belongings stored when not being actively used. Do not leave anything hard on the pads they can cause injuries if left out in any activity area.

10. Fitness Area is for 14+ only

You must be 14 and up to use the fitness area. We get that this is hard, as ellipticals are the most fascinating part of the gym, but this is for everyones safety and comfort. Exceptions are made for minors younger than 14 that are supervised by a Skyhook Personal Trainer.

Have Fun. Try Hard. Keep Growing.

You're going to fall, miss obstacles, and have to try things more than once. That's part of training and life. Support each other, celebrate progress, and don't be afraid to challenge yourself.

PARENT & FAMILY POLICIES

1. Open Gym is Parent Monitored

We have a 1:3 parent to minor supervision ratio. This is to ensure that minors are not endangering themselves or others.

2. Class Arrival and Pick Up Expectations

a. Parents are to drop off/pick up their child(ren) no more than 10 minutes before or 5 minutes after the start of class. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late to a class we will give a first time warning. Moving forward the enrolled individual may not be able to attend class. Warm-Ups at the beginning of class are essential in staying safe by preventing potential injuries, and not being a detriment to the students in class who arrived on time. If you have a scheduling conflict that will lead to this issue on a consistent basis please talk to staff about exceptions.

b. Kids that are waiting for class to begin should head to their coach and sit on the designated class markings. Staff can help you find these if necessary.

c. Kids waiting to be picked up should wait in the lobby and not be disruptive.

3. All People in the Gym Must Have a Waiver On File

Every person in the gym, whether participating in physical activity or not, must have a waiver on file. You are welcome to fill one out in the lobby when you arrive.
