Built on More Than Strength

The skills kids learn here go far beyond the course. These four values guide everything we teach, building them up as people first and athletes second.

Courtesy

Good athletes are good teammates first. We teach kids to greet their coaches, cheer for each other, take turns on the course, and say thank you. Small habits of kindness build a gym, and a world, where everyone feels welcome.

Confidence

Confidence doesn’t come from being told you’re great. It comes from doing something you couldn’t do last week. Each new skill shows kids what they’re capable of, and they carry that belief with them long after they leave the gym.

Discipline

Every obstacle takes practice, focus, and a willingness to try again. Kids learn to listen, follow through, and keep working when something is hard. That’s how they get stronger on the course and in the rest of their lives.

Respect

We respect ourselves, each other, and the space we train in. Kids learn to honor their coaches’ guidance, their teammates’ progress, and their own limits, and they learn that everyone’s journey looks a little different.

Amazing place to be active!

AMAZING place to be active and have fun doing ninja and obstacle course training, whether you’re a serious ninja competitor or just looking for a fun and diverse work out. I have had the joy of training there with my elementary age child and together we’ve had a blast. The staff are incredible, friendly, talented and very helpful.

Experience of a Lifetime

My 9 year old son is having the experience of a lifetime at Skyhook Fitness. Not only does Skyhook provide a place to channel his big energy into new skills, he is learning respect and discipline. The coaches are AMAZING. They have a gift for patience with boundaries. It is the perfect place for physical and mental growth.

Skyhook is Absolutely Amazing!

Skyhook is absolutely amazing! The variety of obstacles and classes make for well rounded athletes. Staff is top notch! My son struggled at the climbing wall for a long time. Staff were willing to put in time and effort to coach and motivate him to overcome his fears. He gained confidence and strength.

quick answers

Adults are welcome to be in classes but you certainly don’t have to be. We offer some adult only classes if watching your kid has peaked your interest or if you don't have kids and still want to become a ninja. If you want to be more involved with your kid we also offer family classes, which are a great way to bond and spend quality time together.
Kids classes are for kids to learn and grow. Adult classes are tailored for the adults in the class, the exact right level of challenge for you to push you, but still keep you safe. Family classes are a little bit inbetween, and are aimed to help families spend quality time together.

We have a 800 square feet space dedicated to fitness, with weights, a squat rack, cardio equipment, and much more. You will need a membership in order to use the facility however.

To start off it is a great idea to take at least one class in each of the disciplines to get a feel for them all and see if one grabs your child’s attention the most.

The belting system we employ asks students to show skills in climbing, parkour, and ninja. If they are able to demonstrate the skills required for their belt level they will receive a tape. This will indicate mastery of the skills of the discipline for their current belt level. This can help you pick a class for your child that will help their progression through the belting system.

Strength Equipment: Full weight area with dumbbells, barbells, benches, squat racks, back extension benches, sled

Cardio: Elliptical, cycle

Dynamic training equipment: Medicine balls, plyometric boxes, yoga balls, bosu ball, TRX System, various stretching equipment and a large space for training and stretching

Looking for something specific? Send us a suggestion when you sign up—we're always open to adding equipment our community wants.

They are our ninja belts, the class leveling system our ninjas go through as they train at Skyhook. You get your white belt once you are enrolled in a class taking membership! These function similar to Martial Arts belts, giving kids a sense of progression that will help them engaged in their time at skyhook. Some obstacles and classes are belt restricted in order to ensure the safety of all participants.
